How it Works
-
We utilize evidence-based practices to meet the needs of families of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We utilize research based training curriculums (e.g., RUBI), online programs (e.g., ATTEND), as well as individualized trainings to meet each families individualized needs. Our BCBA's work in tandem with caregivers to develop goals aimed at improving their daily lives.
-
Families of children who have recently been diagnosed and are on waiting lists for services.
Families who live in a rural area.
Families who need support in meeting their child's needs at home.
Families of children who are placed in group homes.
Families waiting to receive in-person ABA services and would like support in the interim.
Families who have received in-person ABA services in the past and would like support in meeting their child's needs at home.
-
We will meet 1 - 2 times per week for an hour at a time depending on the caregiver's availability and needs.
-
Telehealth! We will meet via video conference. Caregivers can attend meetings from their homes, their lunch break at work or from anywhere!
Fill out our online intake form HERE or give us a call at 720-575-9340 to start the process! Our team will conduct a quick phone screening with you to grab background information about your needs and get you connected with a Caregiver Support BCBA to learn more about your child’s behaviors and goals for skill acquisition!
Once we have determined CSP may be a good fit, we will schedule a virtual caregiver consultation. This includes meeting with one of our BCBAs, virtually, to get to know your current needs and skillsets regarding managing your child's behaviors
We will collect some documents from you in order to request an assessment. What is an assessment? This is where one of our BCBAs will meet with you to see where your current skillsets are regarding managing your child’s behaviors, then the BCBA is able to determine how many hours of they will recommend on a weekly basis for Caregiver coaching.
Your child’s BCBA will write up a treatment plan with goals individualized to your specific needs and areas you need the most support for managing your child’s behaviors. We will then submit this into insurance and once approved, we will reach out to you to set up an ongoing schedule!
