How it Works
-
This is a great opportunity for families of children who have recently been diagnosed and are on waiting lists for services, who live in a rural area, or who need extra support in meeting their child's needs at home. We are able to provide this service to children placed in group homes as well.
This is typically an interim service to support families waiting to receive in-person ABA services.
-
Telehealth! We will meet via videoconference. Caregivers can attend meetings from their homes.
-
We typically meet with caregivers twice per week for 1-2 hours per meeting.
-
We use ATTEND Behavior, an online program based on the highly researched RUBI caregiver training curriculum and contemporary evidence-based practices to meet the needs of families of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Caregivers develop goals in partnership with practitioners aimed at improving their daily lives.
Fill out our online intake form or give us a call to start the process! Our team will conduct a phone screening with you to get more information about your child’s behaviors and your goals on skills you would like to learn to manage them, to determine if CSM is the best fit.
Once we have determined CSM is a good fit, we will schedule a virtual caregiver consultation where you will meet with one of our BCBAs and learn more about what services will look like.
We will collect some documents from you in order to request an assessment. What is an assessment? This is where one of our BCBAs will meet with you to see where your current skillsets are regarding managing your child’s behaviors, then the BCBA is able to determine how many hours of they will recommend on a weekly basis for Caregiver coaching.
Your child’s BCBA will write up a treatment plan with goals individualized to your specific needs and areas you need the most support for managing your child’s behaviors. We will then submit this into insurance and once approved, we will reach out to you to set up an ongoing schedule!
